Events and pages
Do not use Eventikit to publish or run:
- Events that are illegal where they take place, or that promote violence, terrorism or hatred against protected groups.
- Fake events, or pages that impersonate another person, brand or organization.
- Pages that collect passwords, full card numbers, or government identification numbers outside a purpose the law allows.
- Content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Sexually explicit material, or any content that exploits minors.
Email and SMS
- Send only to people who registered for your event or otherwise agreed to hear from you. No purchased, rented or scraped lists.
- Keep messages about your events. Unrelated marketing belongs in your own marketing tools.
- Identify your organization in every message, and honour unsubscribes and STOP replies immediately.
- Do not disguise the sender, the subject, or links in a message.
Payments
- Charge only for the event described on the page, at the price shown.
- Do not use registration payments to move money for unrelated goods or services.
- Follow your payment provider's restricted-business rules.
The platform
- Do not probe, scan or test the security of Eventikit without written permission.
- Do not interfere with the service, overload it, or get around rate limits, plan limits or token metering.
- Do not access another organization's data, or reverse engineer the service.
- Do not resell access to the portal without an agreement with us.
Enforcement and reporting
We may remove content, pause sending, unpublish an event, or suspend an organization that breaks this policy, and will explain why unless the law or an investigation prevents it.
Report abuse, a suspicious event page or a vulnerability to security@eventikit.com. We will not take legal action against good-faith security research that avoids harm to users and data.
